A Few Comments from Participants of
Earlier Grant Writing Seminars/Workshops
 |
“The presenters were
excellent! The arrangement by
FASEB was very impressive. This
seminar/workshop should be given
to Ph.D. students and
postdoctoral fellows before they
begin their careers. I benefited
immensely. Thank you.”
|
 |
“This is a very informative
and useful workshop. I am
extremely glad I attended it.”
|
 |
“Most informative seminar!
Tips and anecdotes were very
helpful.”
|
 |
“The information in the book
works. I have three copies – one
for home, one for the office and
a spare. I use the book like a
bible! I have applied for an
R01.” [Update: Investigator’s
R01 application was funded.]

 |
“Full of powerful information
that is critical to professors,
graduate students, and
postdoctorates. Should be a
permanent part of graduate
curriculum. This is my first
formal grant writing seminar ...
I learned more in 1.5 days than
I did in my semester long
microbiology course that had us
write a mock proposal. Thank
you!”
|
 |
“This seminar was very useful
and exciting. I now have the
tools to complete a successful
proposal! Dr. Stephen Russell is
an awesome instructor. Thank
you!”
|
 |
“This is an excellent
workshop. Of all the grant
writing workshops that I have
attended within the past two
years, this is the BEST!”
|
 |
“Best workshop I ever
attended!”
|
 |
“I enjoyed every minute of
the seminar. I look forward to
another opportunity to attend
this workshop.”
|
 |
“I thought this was going to
be the usual grant writing
workshop, and I had planned to
attend for a few hours. The
first hour of this workshop
convinced me that I must not
miss a minute of the workshop.
It is informative and I am
convinced that going forward I
am a better grant writer. I am
looking forward to my next
successful application. I will
recommend this workshop to
anyone interested in writing a
successful application.”
