Program Description
Summer Research in the Kalluri Lab, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
The division of Matrix biology investigates the role of extracellular matrix and mesenchymal cells in various diseases. I am working on a model of myelofibrosis, characterizing bone marrow stromal cells, and its potential role in fibrosis of the bone marrow in various diseases and neoplasms of the hematopoietic system.
Program dates are flexible; between May – August (with a short break in June.) Only one student will be accepted. The application deadline: ASAP.
